Key Benefits
CHANGING THE COMMERCIAL MARINE LANDSCAPE
Coppercoat Commercial gives you ongoing protection for up to 30 years across a very wide range of applications.
The benefits to your business are far-reaching:
- Eliminates annual re-application costs such as lifting, dry-docking, dismantling and transportation
- Eliminates ongoing on-site maintenance requirements
- Eliminates problems of accessing complex components and reaching difficult locations
- Enables greater planning flexibility as components and machinery can be coated in advance with no 'ticking clock' of antifoul performance
- Eliminates downtime, enables continuous operation, frees up manpower for other tasks
- Reduces total fuel and energy requirements of equipment and support crews
- Conforms to increasingly stringent global regulations in territories including the USA
- Complies fully with all current antifoul legislation including Maritime Organisation (IMO) Resolution MEPC.102(48)
- Emits no toxic fumes or unpleasant odours
- Is non-ablative with a leach rate of less than 50micrograms/cu/cm2 after 30 days
- Is tin-free and uses copper responsibly sourced from recycled sources
- Requires no cleaning agent except water
- Utilises the latest water-based epoxy technology free from aggressive solvents
- Earned us the 'Most Eco-Friendly Business Award' at the China International Boat Show
- Effective in warm and cold conditions, at any depth, in any tidal or current conditions and in fresh or salt water
- Works perfectly and is stable on fast and slow moving or static parts of any size and complexity
- Delivers enhanced performance on coated components to enable much smoother ongoing operation between moving parts
- Creates a cleaner, smoother surface with lower friction and drag for better performance with lower energy requirements and greater longevity
- Eliminates growth in heavy duty situations such as canal walls and tide turbines as well as highly technical commercial equipment with strict operating parameters
- Easy to apply on a wide range of surfaces including GRP, iron, steel aluminium and concrete
- Protects against scour on foundations due to higher abrasion resistance than coatings designed to work in ice flows
- Prevents MIC (Microbial Induced Corrosion), a major problem on transition pieces and monopiles
- We have been delivering unbeatable performance since 1991
- Our performance and durability claims are based on fact and ongoing global applications
- Coppercoat has been fitted to more than 75,000 vessels across the world
- We source, pack and check the product ourselves to ensure quality control
